heart ball
Guests knew they were in for a night of “Rock and Roll” when the invitation for the 2009 Montgomery County Heart Ball arrived in a full-size, realistic vinyl record album and sleeve. The invite set the stage for the black-tie, “Heart Rock”-themed night of leather, electric guitar centerpieces and temporary tattoos. Guests “rocked” the Woodlands Waterway Marriott ballroom, dancing in support of the American Heart Association and in honor of Mended Hearts, a support group for those who have fought cardiovascular disease and stroke.

“hoopla” kick-off party
The Woodlands Christian Academy  held a celebration to kick off its 30 days of fundraising for the hoopla! Gala and Auction to be held on April 4 at the school ’s campus. School supporters and event volunteers gathered at The Club at Carlton Woods, Nicklaus Clubhouse to open the hoopla! online auction and sell tickets and tables for the upcoming hoopla! event. Proceeds from both events go directly to The Woodlands Christian Academy to help provide quality college preparatory and Christian education to the community of South Montgomery County.
