salon to the privacy of your own home with simple, easy to achieve looks just
in time for the holiday season.

A Sleek Up-Do:
1) Start by running Umberto’s Roman Shine Oil through damp strands.
2) Take two paper towels and squish hair between them to remove excess moisture;
make a clean middle part, begin to dry hair.
3) Once hair is dry, smooth back and secure tightly near the nape of the neck.
4) Add a little “va voom” by teasing hair; create a puffy giant bun, similar to a pin cushion, making
sure to smooth the outer layer.
5) Next, add a chic ornament with tulle attached (make sure it’s placed off to the side so that you can show it off from the front or back),
accent with a large surprising brooch or place pins randomly into the bun.
6) Finish your look with Umberto’s Super Hold Hair Spray. If you’re feeling extra flirty add a few sprays of Umberto’s Shimmer Shine Spray for a little holiday sheen.
Houston Rockets Ladies Launch Season at Tory Burch
Houston Rockets wives, fiancés and friends gathered at Tory Burch on Sept. 24 to shop for a cause and launch
the Rockets season in style. Guests enjoyed mimosas and perused Tory must-haves
for fall featuring pop colors, military influences and a touch of eclectic
French style. Chic Tory bags and clutches were a favorite with Rockets special
guests from Memorial Hermann, Northwestern Mutual, Capital One, ODS
International and the Houston Sports Authority. Tory donated 15 percent of
proceeds from the event to the Clutch City Foundation for underserved children
in the Houston area.
