Interfaith of
The Woodlands Celebration of Excellence Gala
There were no capes, or supersonic powers, but there were definitely Hometown “Heroes” among the group of more than 700 supporters that recently gathered to honor this year ’s  outstanding community citizens during Interfaith’s annual Celebration of Excellence Gala held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott. A beautiful ballroom, silent auction, bid boards, Mini Copper raffle and dinner led way to a program of heroic proportions as the honorees took the stage to accept their awards. Nelda Blair emceed the evening with event chairs Catherine and George Lindahl. The Hometown Heroes honored at the
gala include Jude Compofelice, Heather Montgomery, Steve Sanders, Ted Washington and The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion for their ongoing dedication to this community.

Junior League
Holiday Market’s
Gingerbread Workshop
A dab of icing there, a gum drop here, an occasional nibble and you have some of the finest gingerbread men this side of the North Pole! Children gathered to drink hot cocoa, decorate gingerbread and share their lists with Santa at the 2nd annual Holiday Market Gingerbread Workshop held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott, benefitting the community programs of The Junior League of North Harris and South Montgomery Counties, Inc. In addition to a one-on-one with Santa, kids were also treated to face painting and healthful snacks at the annual, ticket-only event.

Swing for A Cure
Swing for A Cure Dinner Gala went casual and country this year for its annual fundraiser benefitting The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and The American Heart Association. It was a boot scootin ’ night at Dosey Doe as supporters dined on down-home food, bid at the live auction and kicked-up their heels to raise money for children battling childhood illnesses.
