Viva La Pallotta Night Raises Funds For Interfaith. Interfaith of The Woodlands, Pallotta’s Mexican Grill and The Falls and Imperial Oaks teamed together for Pallotta’s Mexican Grill Tasting Party. The event raised nearly $700 for Interfaith’s programs and services.
“Each individual donated $5 and was able to sample great new menu items from Pallotta ’s Mexican Grill including fajitas, nachos and more,” said Dr. Ann Snyder, president and CEO of Interfaith. “It was a fun and successful night. Interfaith truly appreciates the support of the Imperial Oaks community and neighborhood restaurants. ”

seniors at the Friendship Center Visit Wolf Sanctuary. The well-documented calming impact of animals when they interact with children and senior adults was evident as participants of The Friendship Center in Conroe visited the St. Francis Wolf Sanctuary in Montgomery.

bentwater cares participates in mcuw day of caring project. Bentwater Cares, a group of volunteers from The Bentwater community on Lake Conroe, participated in a Montgomery County United Way Day of Caring project at Montgomery County Youth Services Fairway Home. The group constructed four picnic tables, and the Assistance League of Conroe provided the cost for materials.

The seniors at The Friendship Center in Conroe have adopted Koa and will be contributing monthly toward his upkeep. The St. Francis Wolf Sanctuary is a nonprofit organization sheltering wolves which, for various reasons, cannot be returned to the wild.  
Annual Ladies’ Night Out held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott.
Ladies from the community dressed up as Hollywood stars and characters and got together for a night that included a dinner buffet and cash bar, live music, dancing, shopping and pampering stations, and silent auction and raffle and giveaways, with all proceeds benefiting Montgomery County Youth Services.
“Our Hollywood theme was a great success,” said Theresa Woodson, director of special events for Montgomery County Youth Services. “It was exciting to see so many people in costume just having fun with their character and enjoying a fun-filled evening to support MCYS. ”
