Mid-Lake is the newest area of East Shore, the Garden District of The Woodlands Town Center. American classic architecture and a walkable environment enhanced by shade trees and garden parks are found throughout this idyllic, lakeside community.
ast Shore, the “Garden District” of The Woodlands Town Center, brings urban residential living to The Woodlands. Bordering the eastern edge of 200-acre Lake Woodlands, East Shore is a 260-acre enclave situated within walking distance of the shopping, dining and entertainment venues along The Woodlands Waterway ®, a 1.4-mile transportation thoroughfare, linear park and water feature, located at the heart of The Woodlands Town Center. East Shore artfully combines classic architecture, formal garden parks and green spaces with urban living.

Custom home building activity is under way in East Shore from homebuilders Hahnfeld-Witmer-Davis, John Post, Robin Rueby, Christopher Sims and George Weaver.
Wendell Custom Homes is offering new homes in Charleston Park in East Shore, priced from $1.5 million, in addition to the New Orleans Cottages and Paddington Terrace residences in the newest area of East Shore called Mid-Lake, priced from the $700s. The centerpiece of Mid-Lake is a new garden park, The Ellipse, featuring four pieces of garden architecture, a fountain, and an elliptical green with seating and picnic areas. This serene green space is shaded by a border of live oak trees and blooming perennial gardens.
Stonemark Builders presents The Villas—25 single-family, three-story residences in East Shore, priced from the $650s. The homes feature Italianate architecture, living areas starting at more than 3,300 square feet, third-floor terraces, two- to three-car garages and innovative courtyard designs.
Luxurious condominiums and townhomes are also featured, priced from the $390s to the $750s. Builders include Carmel Builders and McVaugh Custom Homes. Carmel Builders is offering a collection of 21, three-story townhomes. These residences feature Southern Coastal architecture and include approximately 2,579 square feet of living space. McVaugh presents Oasis Pointe Condominiums and Townhomes overlooking Lake Woodlands. A total of 54 condominiums and 56, three-story townhomes designed in the Southern Coastal style are offered by McVaugh.
The enclave of East Shore is designed for pedestrians, with pathways shaded by street trees, ornamental stonework, pedestrian bridges, sculptural elements and formal garden parks. Olmstead Park, the largest park in the enclave at 2 1/2 acres, includes a pond, formal gardens and sculptural elements near the main entrance to East Shore off Grogan ’s Mill Road. Charleston Park is a landscaped, linear park along East Bay Boulevard with year-round color from perennial flowers and trees that beautifully compliments the Charleston-style architecture of the residences. Colonial Park, Rafter ’s Row Park, Coastal Overlook and Running Man Park all feature distinctive elements like sculptures, panoramic lake views, fountains, lush landscaping and ponds.
