MDA’s “Passport to a Cure” Gala
The Muscular Dystrophy Association’s annual fundraising gala invited guests to set sail on the Mediterranean for a journey by sea and land at its recent “Passport to a Cure” cruise-themed event. The Woodlands Waterway Marriott ballrooms were transformed into scenes from Spain, Monte Carlo, Greece and France to set the mood for MDA supporters as they enjoyed performances from cancan girls and Greek dancers while dining in an authentic Italian dining room overlooking a countryside backdrop. Hosted by Kroger and CITGO Petroleum, the evening was a huge success, raising more than $300,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
1. Bill Breetz with Gina Rodriguez, MDA Houston goodwill ambassador.
