Tea on The Lawn
Benefitting
New Danville
The Wild Women of the Woods hosted their first annual Tea on the Lawn benefitting New Danville. “Proper” southern ladies wore their most beautiful and creative hats and gathered at the top of the hill on the beautiful country grounds of the New Danville community in Willis armed with picnic blankets and sangria while enjoying a miniature-horse parade.

Junior League’s
Literacy Carnival
Children packed the park at Sam Houston Elementary to “Catch the Reading Bug” and some free books at the Junior League Literacy Carnival organized by the more than 55 incoming members of the organization. Dr. Suess lead story time, while more than 400 children enjoyed games and activities at an afternoon created to promote childhood literacy.
