Light the Night
Kick-off Party
It was an evening of inspiration and cheers at the Woodlands Country Club Palmer
Course as supporters and walking teams rallied to celebrate the Leukemia
& Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night The Woodlands Walk. Cancer survivors, event sponsors and team
leaders enjoyed dinner and live music from the Kelley Peters Trio. The
fundraising event, known for its signature illuminated red and white balloons,
raises money for cancer research and patient services.

Kicks Off 2009-10
Year of Service
Volunteers of the Junior League of North Harris and South Montgomery Counties
Inc., welcomed members to the first official meeting of the year, hosted at
several homes of league members from The Woodlands and Spring areas.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary later this year, members are anxiously
awaiting the arrival of their newest cookbook,
Texas Tables, set to arrive just in time for the league’s major fundraiser and premier shopping event, the upcoming JL Holiday Market in
November.

welcomed incoming chairman Bruce Tough at the formal black and white-themed
ball. Chamber business members welcomed the new chairman as the chamber
