Fright Fest is featured weekends beginning Oct. 3 through Nov. 1. Hours of
operation are Fridays, 6 p.m.-11 p.m.; Saturdays, noon-9 p.m., and Sundays
noon-8 p.m.
Experience the ultimate musical ensemble as the best musicians are resurrected
from the grave for one last performance during Last Chance Legends in Purgatory
Hall (The Zaragoza Theatre). With characters ranging from the
“the king” of rock Pelvis Wrestly, the dreadfully divine Scarylin Monroe, and Momma
Casket-Elliot, this over-the-top satire features a twist on classic musical
favorites accompanied by the live band The Skeletones. With surprises around
every corner, you never know who might show up.
Additionally, join all your favorite monster classics including Frankenstein,
Bride of Frankenstein, Dracula, Wolf Man and more during Creature Feature at
Rockville High. Performed on a cemetery-themed set, this elaborate musical
experience contains a variety of genres and songs.

as Scooby-Doo
& Friends Trick-or-Treating at Sundance Theatre or cookie and pumpkin decorating
for a nominal fee at Baxter

concerts along The Woodlands Waterway to the new and improved Cynthia Woods
Mitchell Pavilion and more.
Every week through December, visitors to The Woodlands can find tunes to satisfy
any musical tastes. Here is a sampling of what
’s scheduled this fall: The Woodlands Community Associations presents its 2009
free Concert-in-the-Park fall series every Sunday from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. through
Oct. 25. Spend Sunday evenings listening to live music from a variety of
talented entertainers including the jazzy tunes of Rhett Butler, Swing Thing
and many more.
Entertainment at Waterway Square continues, as its Summer Nights, Waterway
Lights series take place every Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Located
along Waterway Avenue in The Woodlands Town Center, this free event features a
variety of entertainers including live bands, jugglers, mimes, face painters,
stilt walkers, balloonists, magicians and/or caricaturists.
Looking for fun, tropical-island tunes? Then stop by Tommy Bahama Café & Emporium at Market Street – The Woodlands where musicians take the stage throughout the week from 5:30
p.m.-10:30 p.m. and Saturday nights from 6:30 p.m.-11 p.m.
At America’s restaurant (Waterway Square), diners will find a bold and exciting musical
experience as salsa, merengue, Brazilian rock and top 40s hits pulsate
throughout the multi-level restaurant every Friday and Saturday beginning at 10
p.m.

Dance Studios during its debut at Market Street

The shopping and entertainment center welcomes the return of its popular,
month-long Fall Concert Series every Thursday night in October when some of the

Infant Feeding and Digestion Seminar, Oct. 1
Texas Children’s Hospital will present a free seminar for new parents about digestive health,
colic and breastfeeding on Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott
Hotel.
Led by pediatric gastroenterolgist Dr. Bryan S. Vartabedian and expert lactation
consultant Nancy Hurst, R.N, Ph.D.,
“Babies Burps and Breastfeeding” will cover issues such as reflux, colic, breastfeeding, burping and spitting
up, soothing the irritable baby and common myths about feeding and elimination.

St. Luke’s The Woodlands Hospital is hosting an informal series of discussions entitled Coffee With The Cardiologist that will cover educational topics presented by cardiologist Margit Nemeth,
M.D., at 8 a.m. in Conference Room 4 of the hospital.
