Sept. 8 is Business After Hours from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m., hosted by Woodforest Golf Club and Woodforest Development, 6201 Mulligan Drive, Montgomery. This event is complimentary.

Sept. 15 is Discovery Day from 8:30 a.m.-10 a.m., sponsored by Sandler Training at the chamber. This event is complimentary. A meal will be provided with RSVP by Sept. 10.

Sept. 16 is the Networking Breakfast at 7:01 a.m., hosted by Jason’s Deli, 1340 Lake Woodlands Drive, The Woodlands. The price is $8 for chamber members and $10 for prospective members.

Sept. 17 is the Young Professionals Network from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m., hosted by Pine Creek Ranch Apartments, 3600 College Park Drive, Conroe. This event is complimentary.

Sept. 22 is Meet the New Members from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m., hosted by Canongate Golf Clubs and Administaff Small Business Classic, 1730 South Millbend Drive, The Woodlands. This event is complimentary.

Sept. 29 is the Annual Awards Luncheon from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center, 2301 North Millbend Drive, The Woodlands. The price is $30 for members and $35 for non-members. Call 281-367-5777 to RSVP by Sept. 23.

Montgomery County

Demand & Response is a shared ride curb-to-curb service in Montgomery County. Service is available Monday-Friday from 5 a.m.-7 p.m. With no trip type restrictions, they can take you anywhere you want to go within Montgomery County. The trip origin and destination must be within Montgomery County.

Appointments can be from 7 days in advance up to next day service. Appointments for next day service will be taken until 4 p.m. All appointments are taken on a space available basis. Buses are wheelchair accessible.

Fares are $2 per one-way trip (cash or ticket); $80 per book of 40 one-way trip tickets; $75 for a MultiRide pass with 42 one-way trips. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 1-800-272-0039.
