Interfaith Directory Unveiling
What has 1,450 pages, a dining guide, coupon book and an annual, much anticipated unveiling party? The 35th edition of Interfaith of The Woodlands Telephone Directory. George P. Mitchell, founder of The Woodlands, was the guest of honor as the Directory was unveiled . The cover featured a photo of Cynthia Woods Mitchell ’s tribute statue located at the north entrance of The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Mitchell was visibly touched by the generous gesture of his Interfaith family, who wanted to honor Mrs. Mitchell for her many contributions to the community. More than 80 guests celebrated the new Directory, and were honored to hear Mitchell speak about Interfaith of The Woodlands and how he and his wife decided on the name “The Woodlands” for the community. It was a memorable afternoon!

Chamber members and guests tried their skills on the Reformer and spoke with trainers and current clients, including Olympic gold medalist Laura Wilkinson.
